This is the story of a girl lived in Dhamola Village Named Priyanka Pandey.Priyanka was borned at Dhamola Village In 1985.Dhamola Village is Nestled in The Foothills of the  Shivalik mountain  and adjacent to Jim Corbet  National Park .Litchis & Mangos are adequately cultivated in this village .

               Since Her childhood she looked around the cultivation of tomatoes and she relised that the crop was wasted at the time of Harvest and gets very expensive after the crop.

During her education she got an opportunity of fifteen days training Prrogramme  of food processing from Department of food & fruit Processing Uttarprdesh-Nainital .There she felt that by food processing ,crop could have saved from deterioration on one hand ,on the other hand the prices of crops could be enhanced and it Might also have give herself Independence in later years  the thought of self Independence lost some were because of her further education .

           In year 2011 she got married with Mr. Hem Bahuguna who lived at shaharphatak village (Almora), situated at an altitude of 2025 meter from the sea level. Shaharphatak is known as a good harvest strip.

More than 50% of Potato Famous as HALDWANI KA ALOO, sold in Delhi Mandi is produced in this area. Apple, Demson, pear, Peach, & cherry   adequately produced as well.but farmers don’t get fair prices of above crops even at Haldwani mandi.

After participating in, ‘Entrepreneurship Development Program Based On Food Processing’ of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEHRADUN in 2011,her thinking was drastically changed. After that,   with a women organization named YOJAK, she started to make the contrast of flower BURANSH (rhododendron arboreum) in Semi processed form.

Today Priyanka Bahuguna along with A group of women, Producing various fruits and vegetable Products with enhanced Price. And her organization doing an applaudable Work for Women Empowerment By giving them the Training of Making Juice,jam ,Pickle,chips ,Bari  etc.

Even having a Post Graduate Degree of Sociology and B.Ed., instead of doing a job some were she preferred to be self employed through ‘Self Help Group’ and today more than 15 women associated with her organization earning very well and living a satisfactory livelihood
